Short Form Prompts:
All candidates are required to submit responses to the following four prompts (300 character limit per response):
What is your immediate post-MBA career goal?
What is your long-term post-MBA career goal?
Upload an image and explain its significance to you.
Share a fun fact or something unique about yourself.
Optional Question:
Is there any unclear information in your application that needs further explanation or additional details you would like to share with the Admissions Committee? (Maximum 300 words.)
Reapplicant Question:
Upon reflection, how has your perspective regarding your future, Chicago Booth, and/or getting an MBA changed since the time of your last application? (Maximum 300 words.)
Other Application Components
Resume:
Booth asks for a resume that highlights your professional experience.
However, we recommend you show your leadership in both professional and personal contexts
GMAT/GRE Scores:
Booth does not super score GMAT scores.
The GMAT/GRE is optional only for current undergraduate students at University of Chicago or those who have graduated from a UChicago program.
Otherwise its mandatory to submit a valid GMAT/GRE score
Recommendations:
Booth has cut down is recommendation requirement. Applicants must submit ONE letter of recommendation. The LOR should be from your current supervisor. If you are not able to use your current supervisor, explain the reason in the optional essay.
Booth has used the common recommendation prescribed by GMAC. Here are the questions:
1. How do the applicant’s performance, potential, background, or personal qualities compare with those of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples.
2. Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response.
Interviews
