Kellogg MBA Admit 2023

I utilized the services of Namita Garg and her team for my B-School applications for the R1 and R2 2024 intake. Before signing up with Namita, I had introductory calls with many admission consultants. However, my first conversation with Namita stood out; our call lasted over an hour, and I was reassured by her approach. Namita didn’t try to sell her services. Instead, she genuinely listened and provided honest, polite
feedback on my profile. This authenticity prompted me to sign up for her services. After enrolling, Namita shared a comprehensive Excel sheet to fill out, covering almost every aspect of my profile. We then progressed to the resume and, eventually, the essays. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and highly recommend her to anyone seeking an admission consultant. Here are some aspects I particularly appreciated about working with her:

  1. Patience and Dedication: My resume and essays underwent at least ten iterations each. Despite this, Namita and her team remained patient and dedicated. There was no limit on the number of reviews or iterations.
  2. Flexibility: Namita was highly flexible regarding school choices. When my test scores improved, she enthusiastically accommodated last-minute changes, even though initial drafts for the earlier schools were completed.
  3. Understanding Personal Emergencies: On one application’s deadline day, I faced a personal emergency. Namita extended her work hours and worked with me until 3 AM to ensure everything was completed on time.
  4. Extensive Network: Namita’s impressive network significantly aided my application process. She connected me with a Kellogg alum and arranged a detailed mock interview, which was incredibly beneficial for my actual interview.
  5. Polished Essays: The final versions of my essays were concise, effective, and polished. Initially, I couldn’t believe they were the same essays I had written.
  6. Constructive Input: Namita valued my input and provided reasoned guidance on story selection for essays. When I insisted on using a particular story, she took my inputs and convincingly explained why it wasn’t the best choice.

If you’re seeking someone who will offer honest feedback and help you put forth your best application, Namita is the consultant for you. She won’t serve everything on a silver platter but will make you work, which was exactly what I needed. Her approach worked out in my favor, and I secured my dream admission. I hope you achieve your dream with Namita’s help as well.

LBS Admit 2022

Before I started with my MBA applications, I had little idea of professional essays, Namita led me on to the finish line and helped me convert one of my target schools – INSEAD.

She has a rigorous but nonetheless considerate approach that works in favour of her clients. She is excellent in identifying shortcomings and ensures that candidates are working at their full potential in overcoming those.

In addition to the support in application, Namita and her team at MBA Decoder are extremely adept at preparing candidates for interviews. They not only polish the template answers but also work on developing the necessary soft skills to give-away a holistic impression of the candidate’s personality.

Namita is a dedicated, hardworking and practical consultant and I would highly recommend everyone who has even the slightest doubts about the application process to work with her.

INSEAD MBA Admit 2022

MBA journey can be heart wrenching but having someone to talk to, discuss your aspirations and pen it down on a paper can make it worthwhile.

I got through INSEAD, Jan ‘23 with not a very high GMAT/ GRE score. Many Indian consultants told me that the score is lower than average scores at INSEAD and it can be very difficult, close to impossible to get into a top school; however, Namita (MBA Decoder) didn’t. I worked with Namita for around 1 month to create a compelling application and throughout the process she guided me on how to create a compelling story and what matters to INSEAD. Few traits that differentiate her and MBA Decoder from everyone else are: brutal honesty – she outrightly pointed out what didn’t make sense and what was complete bullshit in my essay drafts and asked me to rewrite or change things accordingly, extreme hard work: I had around 90 essay/ resume drafts by the end of my application deadline, winning team: She doesn’t work alone on the essays, she has a winning team with people who have experience in the professional industry and who can give a point of view on practicability of my resume and other essays when they are close to completion, availability: I could ping her anytime and she would respond or call back in the least turnaround time, interview prep: she goes through all the answers that one prepares for the interview and give feedback and she also has 2 people on her team (one MBB manager and other a great professional) who take mock interviews and give very very good and honest feedback. Lastly, I spoke to many consultants who would charge a bomb or not work for 1 school and make everything very transactional, Namita didn’t. I worked with her for one school and there wasn’t a moment when I felt that it was all about money for her.

Ross MBA Admit 2022

During my experience working with MBA decoder, Namita was always ready to go the extra mile to help me achieve my MBA application goals. I definitely would not be going to a Top 10 school with scholarship without her constant guidance and support. The things that stand out for me are the level of dedication and attention to detail she brought to the table, and the frequent brainstorming sessions helped bring clarity to my thought process which was reflected across all my applications. Even though Namita and Niranjan would seem harsh at times during the application journey, I understood that it was their way of motivating me and that they always had my best interests in mind. I would wholeheartedly recommend Namita and MBA decoder to anyone looking to crack MBA schools in the US.

HEC Paris MBA Admit 2022

After my GMAT was over, I started researching which admission consultant to work with. Coming from a non-traditional and non-corporate background it was very important for me to work with a consultant who understood what I was looking for. After talking to multiple admission consultants, I realized that most of them were working with multiple students at once, which meant little personal attention, while I knew that I wanted to work with someone who would help me curate and narrate my story in my own unique way.

I came across Namita after I read some reviews on GMAT Club and decided to connect with her. From our very first interaction, I was able to sense that Namita’s process was very different from others and instead of giving me the regular sales pitch, she heard me, understood my story and told me what all needed to be done. I was convinced that Namita would be the best person to guide me through the admission process and started working with her on my applications.

Once we decided on the schools that I should apply, we went through the essay questions and started working on my stories. Although the process was stressful, Namita and Niranjan were always there whenever I needed their assistance. Over the next few months Namita adjusted to my hectic and overwhelming work schedule and we went through countless iterations of each and every essay question. There was no draft limit on the number of revisions and throughout the entire application process, Namita became so familiar with me and my stories that she herself suggested anecdotes from my personal and professional life that would be relevant for a particular essay.

Furthermore, Niranjan’s advice, mentorship and constructive feedback during this entire process was very helpful whenever I felt that I had hit a brick wall. His one-on-one sessions really helped me to connect the dots of my story and curate perfect school specific essays. After I received my interview invite from HEC Paris, Niranjan held mock interviews with me, tailored my responses and prepared me for my real interview. He instilled confidence in me and I was able to cruise through my hour-long HEC interview. Our combined efforts bore fruit and I finally received an admit from HEC Paris.
Looking back on my initial essay drafts, I realize how terrible they were. I definitely could not have presented a strong and compelling application to HEC had it not been for Namita and Niranjan. The fact that they were able to get me, a person from a non-corporate background, into HEC Paris, my dream college, speaks volume about them. It was a privilege working with MBA Decoder on my college application and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to go to a top business school.

IESE MBA Admit 2022

I found out about Namita and MBA Decoder during my initial B-School research when I got this opportunity to speak with a student from INSEAD. He had taken MBA Decoder’s services and there was one statement he had made which convinced me to reach out to MBA Decoder for my MBA application assistance – “If there is one person who can get you in, its Namita”. Looking back today, with an admit from IESE (Barcelona), with 110% conviction I can say that joining hands with Namita was the best decision I had made. As Namita taught me to respect brevity and being concise throughout my MBA application journey, I would prefer to list down every single reason why I feel MBA decoder is outstanding:

  1. Namita speaks to the point based on well researched upon facts and figures and sets realistic expectations for a candidate from the very beginning
  2. Namita goes the extra mile to understand and analyze every single story in the candidate’s personal and professional life, and helps select and refine the best stories based on the values and mission of the B-schools the candidate is applying to
  3. On a personal front, working with Namita has helped drastically improve my writing skills and self-introspection capability
  4. Niranjan (Senior Consultant, MBA Decoder), an LBS graduate himself with decades of experience, gave insights which many a times prompted me to make a 180 degree shift in the storylines I chose for my application essays, tremendously enhancing the quality of my essays and impact of my stories
  5. I would definitely rank MBA Decoder as one of the best MBA admission consultancy, in line with the global best, but what truly sets Namita and her team apart is the fact that the services are much more affordable compared to the many others who charge exorbitantly

I would strongly recommend Namita and her team to any prospective MBA applicant struggling to pursue his/her dreams. MBA Decoder would surely make it happen!

UCLA MBA Admit 2022

I worked with MBA Decoder for Round 2 applications during the 2021-22 cycle and I highly recommend their services for anyone aiming to get into top business schools across the globe.

What made me opt for MBA decoder’s services over other consultancy firms was Namita’s honest, detailed and non-sugar coated feedback in the free consultation call. My conversation with Namita was an eye opener. She helped me understand what ticks with the admissions committee and how I need to project more than just my work achievements to impress the adcom. Over the following weeks, Namita and her colleague Niranjan’s knowledge of post-MBA opportunities along with their experience of sending tens of aspirants to top business schools helped me build a career vision and identify stories from my life that could marry my professional and personal experiences with my career vision.

Along with having a highly knowledgeable team, Namita is also a hardworking and dedicated consultant. Throughout the process, Namita followed up with me to turn in the essay drafts and ensured that we could make sufficient iterations to the essay before the deadlines. She in fact worked through a flu to ensure that the essays were upto the mark.

My advice to someone considering working with her would be to put their full faith in Namita and her team and follow her advice to the T.

Multiple admits at Ross, UCLA, Tepper, ISB

My first conversation with Namita gave me all the motivation I needed to work with her team for the applications. Her to-the-point and no-nonsense attitude is exactly what keeps you going through this long and stressful phase.

What stood out the most while interacting with Namita and her team is the connection they build with you on a personal level. They want to understand every aspect of your personal and professional life so that they are as involved as you are and can help craft the perfect application. Many of my better essays came as a result of their understanding of my experiences as opposed to me proposing a completely different situation

I first interacted with Niranjan during a goals discussion. While I had a rough idea of the direction I wanted to go in, Niranjan helped me gain immeasurable clarity and confidence with respect to my goals. Speaking of his own experiences, he helped me understand what skills the role would require and what challenges I’d face. He also helped me build a strong long term goal and vision that I am now looking forward to once I complete my MBA.

Throughout my application process, I interacted with Namita, Niranjan and also Rohit, for crafting my essays, resume and also helping my recommenders better understand the universities and their requirements.

I realized that resume building is a skill on its own, with Niranjan and Rohit thoroughly analysing every single line on my resume and fine tuning it to perfection. The first and final drafts of the resume speak of two completely different people altogether.

It was only fitting that I work with Namita and the team for the interviews as well. The connection and comfort level I had built with her team was unmatched and I was confident that they would help me succeed.

While any candidate can anticipate and prepare for most behavioral questions in an interview, it’s highly important that the answers adhere to a certain structure and convey very specific details. Namita shared a booklet of the most asked b-school interview questions as well as a detailed guide on how to prepare answers for these.

My mock interviews with Niranjan and Rohit were a goldmine. Not only did I get a chance to practice my prepared answers on two seasoned MBA grads and professionals but gained invaluable feedback on how I could perfect these answers.

Carefully walking through every answer, Rohit and Niranjan helped me structure the answers, and rather than telling a complete story, I was then able to bring out the most intricate details while sticking to the allotted time. Their valuable experience not only during their MBA but also during their post MBA professional lives helped me mould some of the most tricky and negative scenario-based questions – the ones I was most hesitant about. Another realization was that its not your answers that define an interview but your mentality and preparedness that guide you through. Niranjan and Rohit both helped me build the right mentality and instilled confidence in me to see this through.

2020 Wharton-Lauder Dual Degree MBA, Kellogg MBA & Tuck MBA admit

Thanks to MBA Decoder – Namita Garg and her team – I got 100 % acceptance from all the three top b-schools I applied to. Namita not only understands the nuances of each school’s application, but also knows how to work with you and your background to help you craft a strong application that really hits the mark for each school.

The structured approach, from initial brainstorming to refining goals & essays, was a comfortable and reassured process. Namita and her team extended their support round the clock to accommodate my late working hours and my time zone difference (I live in the US), shared very honest feedback and actionable next steps. Most importantly she kept me motivated and organized throughout the process, setting reminders to keep the process on track and setting up prompt calls for discussion when needed. Her constant probing of my essays made a huge difference in the quality of my applications.

For interview preparation, Namita connected me with current students and alumni from each school, which was an amazing resource to give me a leg up for interviews. A timely connection with one of her past Wharton admits helped me gain access to a TBD organized by current Wharton students.

2020 Stanford MSx admit

As I was firming up my plans to apply for the Sloan Fellows programs at Stanford and MIT, a friend who pursued his management program from Kellogg strongly recommended that I take help from Namita and her team saying that it’s always useful to be guided by professionals, particularly when we’re applying to Ivy schools.

When I first spoke to Namita, I was impressed with her honest feedback about my profile and the hard work that needs to be put in to submit strong applications. More importantly, on the very first call, she mentioned that the time was really short for R1 and that I needed to begin immediately. With a competitive GMAT score and with a broad outline of essays, I thought the process would be fairly simple. However, the kind of feedback Namita and her colleague Niranjan were providing at every iteration of the application, made me really streamline my thought process and come up with highly coherent essays. They acted as a strong sounding board and ultimately played a key role in me securing admission offers from both Stanford and MIT.

Just as my friend did, I would strongly recommend prospective applicants to benefit from the in-depth understanding Namita and her team possess about admission processes across top business schools.

2020 Tuck MBA admit with Scholarship

When I got done with my GMAT, I had no clue about the various schools. I scheduled numerous calls with consultants in a bid to get going at my apps but it didn’t seem to work out. A dear friend referred me to MBA Decoder and I had a good chat with Namita. The introductory call put me at ease, and I felt comfortable working with her.

Over the next couple of months, owing to my late arrival to Round 1, she inspired tremendous confidence in me to aim high. I wouldn’t have considered certain schools had it not been for her constant push. I applied to Kellogg, Tuck and Duke, got calls from the first two and an admit at Tuck with a 70K scholarship.

She was unabashed in her criticism but also generous in concern. She’d often stay up late into the night and go through the tiniest detail of the application. It felt like working with a dear friend who wished the best for you. Her deep-rooted understanding of the nuances of b-school apps came in handy while we approached various school essays. I continue to stay in touch with her and would gladly recommend MBA Decoder and her team, they aspire for your success as much as you do!

2020 Richard Ivey Admit with Scholarship

While I was beginning my journey to apply to Ivey Business School, I didn’t hesitate before reaching out to Namita from MBA Decoder. Although I’d known her earlier, this was the first time I was working with her for the applications.

From the beginning, she had made it clear that this would not be a spoon-fed process at all. And the best applications don’t come through with someone else doing it for you, but more towards self-introspection, walking through one’s own journey, and penning down the journey that we’ve had thus far. Post the initial framework on resumes, career goals, professional journey – the real hard work began after that.

Step by step, Namita ensured that anything but the best, just wasn’t good enough. There were pushbacks, counter questions, long conversations about the ‘Why” of what I wanted to do in my career. The journey with MBA Decoder actually taught me a lot about myself, my goals and aspirations, and If I was thinking on the right path or not. There are no limits to the number of reviews, changes, and edits – purely because there is no science behind this – but more along the stories coming together to create a compelling narrative.

The essays, resume, and the application had a lot of edits and changes – to tie back one story in unison without any gaps and leakages throughout. The end product looked so much more different than the initial one that I had penned down.

Namita’s colleague – Niranjan, was also an extremely hard taskmaster to ensure that the profile is leak proof. The mock interviews would give you a lot of insights and understanding of the real deal – giving you the toughest possible curve balls and questions to ensure that you are unfazed during the actual interview.

Overall, the experience was seamless and extremely thorough. If you’d expect someone to write everything down for you, I wouldn’t recommend MBA Decoder. But if you believe that you have what it takes to crack B-School and you’re looking for a guide, mentor and friend – MBA Decoder should be your way ahead. Reiterating this once more, the journey, processes, and the questions on the table for the candidate – leaves you with a lot of clarity on your story, your journey, and what you want to do in your career up ahead. Namita and Niranjan’s understanding of different schools across geographies, and what it takes to make a winning application cannot be highlighted enough. The icing on the cake was a CAD $30,000 scholarship as well.

2020 Ross/ Cornell/IESE/ McDonough/ ISB admit

Signing up with MBA Decoder has been one of the best decisions and investments I made during my b-school journey.

Although I initially signed up with MBA Decoder and another consultant – one of India’s best, to apply for the 2019 intake, I pushed it to the 2020 intake owing to a compelling professional opportunity. Namita was extremely flexible and a year later, we picked up right where we had left off.

Starting with the exhaustive mini-questions, questionnaires and SWOT analysis, we were able to distill the key points in my story. Another huge factor was that Namita was accessible at all times which reinforced that I had made the right choice.

It was a bumpy ride when we started identifying the schools based on my profile because I had a fairly atypical profile and a fairly high number of misconceptions about where I would be a better fit and where I won’t. Nonetheless, I loved how Namita was brutally honest and cautiously optimistic through the process.

After a series of calls with Niranjan, Namita’s senior expert, we started diving into the CV and essays. The attention to detail, which at the time felt extremely irritating, ended up paying dividends even after receiving my admission – My post-selection CV took less than 30 minutes to prepare and the CDC was impressed how I already had all the necessary criteria met.

Unfortunately though, R1 was a bust and instead of cutting me loose like a bad investment, which “one of India’s biggest consultants” did (read ghosted me), Namita and Niranjan were super supportive! Their attitude was one of empathy and we rallied to build an entirely new approach. We even went back to the drawing board for a few things and built some extremely compelling applications this time around.

It was no surprise when the admission rate in R2 jumped to 60%!

A few things that I believe set MBA Decoder apart are:

  1. Namita’s personalized approach. She really listens and understands you as not only a person but also a professional.
  2. This isn’t a client-service provider relationship! Both Niranjan and Namita get involved at a very granular level and share in the successes and guide you through all the failures.
  3. Accessibility. Honestly, I was terrible at keeping timelines and would often leave things to the last minute but Namita would stay up through the night, ready to help, right down to the minute I hit the submit button.
  4. The process! I hated it when it started because I had to do everything myself. Before Decoder, I would often just copy a standard template or best practices for essays and CV off the internet and write long and drab stories that would put an insomniac to sleep. In contrast, Namita would deep dive into each draft, highlighting the good, the bad and the ugly – this iterative process of authentic content creation was critical to building a story that was authentic and compelling. She would factor in my weak points and mentored me to build robust narratives through a tough yet rewarding iterative process.
  5. Niranjan is a zen-master. His approach wasn’t just to prepare me to get an admission into a school. Instead, a lot of our calls involved him doubling as a career coach and a mentor.

I would definitely recommend MBA Decoder to those willing to put in the sweat to not just get into a good b-school but also those hoping to learn skills that will serve them well during and post the MBA.

2020 INSEAD MBA admit

Namita and the MBA Decoder team were a tremendous help throughout the process. I greatly appreciated their inputs in key aspects of the application, from gaining a clearer understanding of my goals to refining my essays to articulate my personality and aspirations effectively. Namita was happy to have review sessions and discussions up to the last minute of submitting the application which gave me a big sense of comfort. Her commitment to making sure that I put my best foot forward in the application was evident, and I am happy that I got to work with her on this journey.

2019 Tuck MBA admit (Lawyer, $80K Scholarship)

I am a corporate lawyer, which is not a typical profile for Indian applicants to US business schools. While speaking with other admissions consultants, I felt that they lacked the ability to understand my profile and would be unable to help me translate my story, achievements, and goals to a winning application. Namita and her team of senior consultants, on the other hand, have extensive experience with a variety of industries and proved to be the perfect fit. The absence of a cookie-cutter approach was refreshing and sealed the deal for me. From B-school selection to finalization of essays, consultants at MBA Decoder are deeply committed and follow a structured process which yields tangible results. Their focus is on deep introspection and clarity of career goals. They are highly approachable, offer as many rounds of review as necessary to make the essays shine through, and ensure that applicants do not lose focus of other critical application components, such as recommendations. They were available around the clock to accommodate my crazy working hours, shared honest feedback, and ensured that I remained engaged and realistic about results. All this helped me transform the technical and esoteric aspects of my work experience to impactful stories which adcom members would find engaging. The efforts shone through and I landed interview calls from three top US business schools, including my dream school – Tuck. I am joining Tuck this fall as a Forte Fellow, with an $80k scholarship. I am glad I chose to work with MBA Decoder and would highly recommend their services to all applicants.

2019 INSEAD Admit

Namita and the MBA Decoder team were a tremendous help throughout the process. I greatly appreciated their inputs in key aspects of the application, from gaining a clearer understanding of my goals to refining my essays to articulate my personality and aspirations effectively. Namita was happy to have review sessions and discussions up to the last minute of submitting the application which gave me a big sense of comfort. Her commitment to making sure that I put my best foot forward in the application was evident, and I am happy that I got to work with her on this journey.

2019 INSEAD MBA admit (with Scholarship)

I came to know of MBA Decoder through another INSEAD admit from my company. Given my very average profile of a non-IIT male engineer with an average GMAT score, the company’s founder, Namita was professional at the outset in stating that it would take significant effort in the application to achieve an INSEAD admission.

With only 10 days time left before the deadline, Namita put me through an intense regime of working and reworking on my essays. She roped in her senior consultant, who has served on the admissions team of a top 10 US b-school, to review my essays. Together, they helped me frame my career goals and motivations in coherence with my achievements. They helped iterate my resume several times ensuring it reflected my achievements and was totally rid of jargon. This exercise gave me great confidence in my application and the drill helped me prepare better for the interview as well.

It was a pleasant surprise when I not only received an admit to INSEAD but a diversity scholarship of €13,000.

I’d like to recommend Namita and the MBA Decoder team to any b school aspirant motivated to undergo personal transformation.

2019 Georgetown McDonough & Emory Goizueta admit

I just wanted to convey a sincere thank you for the opportunity to work with you this past year. It was an incredible experience that meant all the difference in my MBA applications. Working with Namita bolstered my confidence and provided a larger sense of context regarding the applicant pool, giving me a sense of where I stood and how my background compared to other applicants. Namita strives to maintain a productive rapport that also feels very casual thus helping me craft my personal narrative and ensuring the same is reflected in my applications and essays. The best thing that I found about MBA Decoder is that they challenged me and worked with me at every step of the way to make sure that I put my absolute best foot forward when applying to business schools. I would also like to add that their willingness to engage with me over multiple rounds of edits is something that I found unique and necessary in the application process. I owe you and Niranjan a big thank you for all your help getting me into McDonough School of Business.

2019 Duke MBA admit ($20k Scholarship)

I had a wonderful experience working with MBA Decoder on my US B-school applications. I am going to attend Fuqua School of business this fall, that too with a scholarship. I’d like to recommend MBA Decoder specifically for their unending support on my applications. Starting out, I was unaware of the effort that goes into writing solid essays, and this is where MBA Decoder’s structured approach and persistent efforts helped me the most. While I have a decent work profile, I have some really extensive and unique extracurricular involvements, which I didn’t think were important from the application perspective. However, MBA Decoder kept probing me deeper and deeper on these experiences, until I started seeing their value and put them down into my essays and resume. Their constant stream of comments on my essay drafts sometimes seemed unnecessary to me, but this eventually transformed my application from average to WOW! By the end of it, I had a very strong and consistent storyline that was supported by a super strong resume, essays and the application forms. The experiences that I had discounted and brushed aside were the ones that helped me establish my leadership ability and thus differentiated me in the application process. I found an excellent mentor in the MBA Decoder team. They made me understand how to present my profile impressively to my audience- this is a learning that will always help me – even while at business school and beyond. MBA Decoder are genuinely invested in their applicants’ success. They don’t count hours or number of contact times- they help much beyond what you’d expect consultants to.

2019 ISB admit (Doctor, low GMAT score)

ISB was my first choice among business schools and the only one I applied to. So, I am extremely happy that I got an admit, all because of MBA Decoder’s help. I had approached the MBA Decoder team only 10 days before the deadline. As one can imagine I was very nervous about the application and whether this would be enough time to yield a positive result. Namita immediately made me dive into the process by taking me through an extensive brainstorming session. I had another informative career goals brainstorming session with her and her brilliant colleague, Niranjan. However, I still had doubts in my mind about how my career goals should be framed. The MBA Decoder team worked with me to help me get a grip on my career goals, with Niranjan patiently explaining what different career paths could work for me given my experience so far. Thereafter, MBA Decoder made sure that my essays were compelling and would help to set me apart. I am a doctor with somewhat non-traditional work experience and an intense personal story. They helped me strike the right balance between my personal and professional experiences to bring out a solid application that worked for me despite my sub 700 GMAT score. I also took Niranjan’s help for the interview. His advice on every answer I gave was extremely pinpointed and helped me prepare for a winning interview. Overall, my experience with MBA Decoder was very smooth. Despite the short time they supported me and groomed me to think like an MBA applicant. They made me understand what factors the MBA admissions committee looks for within applicants and how I could demonstrate them through my application and interview. I would highly recommend both their application as well as interview services.

2019 UBC Sauder and Schulich Admits (both with Scholarships)

After my GMAT, while I was researching which admission consultant to work with, I came across Namita. After detailed research (her services, feedback, reviews, success rate, style of working and reasonable fees) on her, I was convinced that she would be the best guide for me in this tricky journey of getting a dream MBA admission offer.

Starting from the initial contact immediately after my GMAT, she gave me two important tips – 1st, not to reappear the GMAT though I never got less than a Q50 in practice and 2nd, to target R2 instead of my initial plans to apply in R3. Although a bit hesitant, I decided to act totally in sync with her mentoring.

In the beginning, my entire life experience was distilled to filter out the most impactful and meaningful ones. And, I could get a fair idea what to base my applications on. And I realised that I had been quite wrong as to what I thought were important and what actually needed to be highlighted in my essays and the resume. Through lots of brainstorming, I rediscovered myself in the entire process, delving deep into all my life’s experiences. Eventually, we were able to make out the most of my life and work experiences, put it across in my essays and resumes and clearly link it to my career goals, which is extremely critical for the Adcoms out there. Of course, there was a lot of hard work involved and the process did take a lot of iterations.

Finally, it was a no-brainer to take her help again for the interviews. And, yet again it was a deeply enriching experience. The MBA Decoder team helped structure my answers and provided important feedback from the mocks which helped me ace the real thing with confidence.

I was extremely thrilled to get 2 top Canadian MBA offers and I owe much of my success to Namita and her team, who worked extremely passionately to convert my Canadian MBA dreams into a reality. In hindsight, I do not think I would have been able to achieve what I did without MBA Decoder’s help. She and her team were always there to provide any help with utmost patience, no matter how silly my questions were. The entire process can tend to be overwhelming and I sincerely feel obliged to MBA Decoder’s mentorship. Needless to mention, my decision has been well vindicated and I strongly recommend her to anyone who is serious about taking a crack at the top business programs the world over.

2019 Richard Ivey Masters in International Business

When I first reached out to MBA Decoder, I had no intentions of taking external help for my MS application. I was applying to Richard Ivey’s Masters in International Business program with 1.5 years of work experience. I had already written my SOP and was confident I had a good draft in place. I just wanted to get last minute feedback from some expert and that’s how I reached out to MBA Decoder. Namita very sweetly agreed to review my essay for me. Her feedback turned out to be an eye opener. Understanding that there was a major scope for improvement, I immediately signed up with MBA Decoder for their resume and essay services. Over the next two weeks Namita understood my profile in detail and helped me completely turn my resume around. The career goals discussion with Sachin helped me put together my so far scattered career story into place and draw the connections between my past experience and future goals. Although I had a story to tell, after talking to the MBA Decoder team, I realized that I was selecting the wrong examples that did not help create the impact. Namita helped me restructure my essay, and put it into a solid and coherent storyline that answered all the answers adcoms look for in a career goals statement. I was amazed with the output and also understood what my essay lacked before. Three weeks later, after I received an interview invite, I approached MBA Decoder for help on the interview. Once again Namita helped me structure my answers. During the actual interview, I had the admissions team asking me around 10 behavioral questions and thanks to the STAR approach that she had asked me to follow, I was able to give convincing answers for all. Given that I had applied to only Richard Ivey, this admission was extremely important to me. I started my application with an obvious disadvantage, a sub-par GMAT score. Despite that, I could make it to my dream school, all thanks to MBA Decoder’s help.

2018 Wharton-Lauder MBA/MA admit (withdrew Tuck interview invite after Wharton admit)

I came across Namita when I was researching MBA admissions consultants after having got the GMAT out of the way. From the get go, what struck me about her was the enthusiasm with which she approached the project of getting me into a good B-school.

One of the most underestimated aspects of putting together MBA applications is about time management. It is highly tempting to sit on your essays trying to craft those “perfect” sentences rather than moving the application forward. This is where Namita really shone through – she is extremely particular about you managing your time, and she pushed me to keep my applications moving forward. By setting timelines, reminders and milestones, she helped me balance the application workload alongside a full-time job without compromising the quality of the applications.

In addition, Namita offered invaluable guidance about selecting appropriate schools for your application, based on my career goals as well past academic and professional experiences. What I appreciated the most was that there was no pressure to “pick” or “drop” any school – she would work on me with whichever ones I finally decided; however, she always gave her candid thoughts on my realistic chances of admissions at each of the schools we talked about.

She has a great support team who are always willing to support you be it fleshing out your career goals or prepping through mock interviews. The discussion with Sachin greatly improved my clarity about my career goals, which then added an indispensable flavour to my essays. The discussions and mock interviews with Niranjan set me up perfectly for the actual interviews at Wharton.

The most important thing about the MBA Decoder team’s service is that you get personalized attention at all times. There is no cookie cutter approach used: you write your own essays and Namita provides you ample feedback on all aspects, along with tips on how to fine tune the writing further.

A special value proposition from Namita which sealed the deal for me, was the fact that there is no limit to the number of reviews that the essays and your resume undergo. At many other consultants, the catch was that there were 2 or 3 rounds of review in which the applicant was expected to have their essays finalised. However, Namita’s approach from the outset was that we work together on the essays until it was good to go, without regard to time and number of iterations.

In all, a great service that played a large role in getting me admitted to the B-school of my choice.

2018 Kellogg MBA admit

Kellogg is my dream b-school and is the only program I applied to. I’d happily admit that MBA Decoder’s help has been instrumental in getting an admit at Kellogg. Several aspects stood out for me in my experience with MBA Decoder:

They follow a thorough process right from their building the foundation step to the final essay editing step. Their methodology forced me to delve deeper into my experiences and come up with meaningful insights. This helped create the compelling stories that became critical to my application. By the time we completed the application, I had gained so much self-awareness that it helped me immensely in preparing for my interview.

The MBA Decoder team has consultants with significant industry experience. Their senior expert Niranjan guided me on my career goals. I work in an industry where not too many people earn MBAs, hence the career goals question was tricky for me. Niranjan guided me towards a career path that aligned with my past experience. Although I did not initially agree with him, I realized after talking to several people that his recommendation was based on deep industry insights. I got help from another MBA Decoder consultant, a Kellogg alum- who gave me an excellent insider view.

I did two mock interviews with both these consultants. They coached me really well for Kellogg’s behavioral interview. No wonder I nailed it.

Throughout the process, Namita drove the effort like it was her own application. Thanks to her and her team, I am here today at Evanston, and loving every minute of it.

2018 Tuck School of Business Admit

I signed up for MBA Decoder’s full board of services to apply to the Tuck School of Business . After a long and enduring journey, Namita and her team helped me secure the coveted admit from my dream school.

The MBA application process can be very comprehensive and challenging. I think Application consultancies are a great support system for this – they help us package our thoughts, journeys and personalities. But there are just so many of them out there that it’s really confusing and difficult to pick the right one. Many of them are exorbitantly expensive and make huge promises, taking advantage of the aspirants’ vulnerability in testing times. But I found MBA Decoder to be realistic, honest, committed and fantastic value for money.

I believe Namita and her team have the right mix of collaborative and direct guidance. At the start, Namita was patient and took time to learn about my background and my aspirations. She addressed some of the tough questions on why EXACTLY I need an MBA very early on and probed me to introspect. But where necessary, she also offered some straightforward and head-on career guidance. Throughout the process, she wore many hats – a friend, a professional, a counsellor and also a taskmaster.

For the application itself, I am extremely satisfied with MBA Decoder’s support. Namita regularly seeks feedback from industry professionals on the content, ensuring that the application stays relevant and practical while not compromising on elements of passion. Unlike many other consultancies, MBA Decoder does not limit the number of iterations on an essay and offers support on the auxiliary essays too! Namita works nights, weekends and stays with you till the time you hit the submit button and even after.

For the interview too MBA Decoder’s services exceeded my expectations. Namita set up mock interviews in no time and helped me progressively prepare for the final test. The perfectionist that she is, I had to send Namita voice clips for a hotlist of questions that she created. I had a sore throat on some mornings but can’t emphasise how much this helped!

MBA Decoder has a very balanced team. Namita brings a lot of knowledge and experience, the external reviewers bring a fresh perspective and the editing team ensures that our essays stay concise.

Finally, I just want to re-emphasise Namita and her team’s commitment. I believe this is crucial in a time when we aspirants can become desperate and vulnerable. And MBA Decoder I think is one of the few consultancies that possesses this. I would highly recommend using MBA Decoder!

2018 INSEAD Admit (25,000 Euros Scholarship)

The MBA Decoder team has been an excellent support and guide for my ISB and INSEAD applications.

Having a decent set of credentials and an above average GMAT score of 730, I had expected the application process to be a cakewalk. However, just two months before my INSEAD application submission date I realized that I needed professional guidance to bring out the best in my essays.

I contacted most big names in the MBA consulting industry but found them to be mostly money-minded. Namita, MBA Decoder’s Founder, showed genuine interest in my profile and this drew me towards taking her help for both my ISB & INSEAD applications.

Working on my applications with Namita and Niranjan has been an eye-opening experience. They pushed me to delve deeper into my life stories and bring out the learnings in my essays. They brought about a big transformation in the way I projected myself in my essays.

Namita also put me in touch with the alumni of top b-schools who helped me immensely in shaping my career goals and aspirations. She was stern when I did not meet her expectations and kept pushing me to do better than the best. Her constant thrashing and guidance paid off and I received admits from both the b-schools I had applied to (ISB and INSEAD). I also received a €25000 scholarship grant from INSEAD, thanks to Niranjan’s and Namita’s guidance and help in polishing and shaping my application.

I really think MBA Decoder is one of the best in the application consultancy business both in India and abroad. I highly recommend them to grad school applicants who are willing to settle for nothing but the best.

2018 McDonough and IIM Bangalore EPGP admits

I first contacted MBA Decoder in 2016 after applying to 5+ b-schools the previous year and not getting a single admit. Going through the application cycle a second time was mentally draining and this is where Namita’s mentorship really helped me.

She constantly pushed me to work upon my applications although I must admit, I had lost some steam. But Namita remained on top of her game all throughout. She sent me regular reminders to work on my applications and motivated me like an elder sister to work towards my dream of getting an MBA. She made me relook my entire application strategy, which led to a new set of more focused essays for every business school where I applied. She helped me revamp my resume and ensured it screamed impact and leadership, in line with what b-schools look for among candidates.

Eventually, I had admits from McDonough School of Business and IIM Bangalore. I decided to attend IIM Bangalore. I am loving my experience here and have MBA Decoder to thank for guiding me through the challenging application process.

USC Marshall – iBEAR admit with $45k scholarship

I had applied to a few MBA fellowship programs for senior managers before I met MBA Decoder, but did not achieve great results. I hired an MBA Decoder to assist me on my LBS Sloan fellowship and USC Marshall’s iBear MBA applications.

Although I understood the application writing process, the MBA Decoder team brought a new perspective to my application strategy, which helped me gain admission to iBear MBA towards the end of their application cycle.

Throughout the process, the MBA Decoder team followed a very structured approach. Namita discussed my life stories several times over to help me pick the most apt ones for the application.  For the main essay, “Tell us something about yourself that will strengthen your application”, I initially wanted to write one of my achievement stories. However, Namita felt that given my extensive work and leadership experience, I should rather present a holistic view that demonstrates a habit of leadership. This made a huge difference as my overall experience was really able to shine through. She also refined my resume, which initially focused only upon responsibilities to one that spoke of leadership and impact- all within two brutal edits.

MBA Decoder’s senior consultant Niranjan Kanvinde spent over an hour discussing my career goals. He brought thorough clarification on the best career choices I had available and how I should present them in my goals essay. On his suggestion I wrote an ambitious long term goal which was more in sync with my career so far.

The result was that I was more confident during my iBear interview and got an admit with the highest scholarship of $45,000. After this result, I did not apply to LBS.

As a special mention, Namita also voluntarily helped me with my MIT Sloan Fellowship waitlist. She helped me deftly mention some key experiences I had left out in my application as I had not considered them as important.

To sum up, the MBA Decoder team went beyond just assisting me with the given set of essays, instead enabling me to create a holistic profile that was commensurate with my substantial work experience. Their mentorship during several phone discussions enabled me to identify what was unique within me while they helped me put that beautifully into the essays.

2018 ISB, IIMB & SP Jain Admit

I cannot recommend talking to Success highly enough about planning your business goals. It involves an examination of operations which allows their team to discuss the art of the possible.

I decided to work with MBA Decoder after reading their reviews on various admission forums and most importantly after my discussion with the MBA Decoder co-founder Namita. It took one call with Namita to understand their genuity about the whole process. She gave me a proper understanding of my profile, the expectations and the way to approach each application. The best aspect about MBA Decoder is their self-intuitive process with the necessary guidance and a structured approach. It helped me to think hard and articulate my story which eased my preparation for the interviews. Each application was focused, with a personal approach to the story which made the process extremely satisfying. Also, MBA Decoder’s wide alumni connection is very helpful as it can be used to further refine the shortlisting process and also prepare for the college interviews.

I feel their work ethics is what makes MBA Decoder stand out from other consultants. With no bar on the number of reviews till the consultants and the applicants are satisfied with the outcome, personal approach to the essays, objective and explanatory feedback makes the entire process a learning opportunity. To give an example: Even though I did not enroll into the interview package, Namita shared some probable questions and kept me updated on any surprise question which she foresee as for her it was not only about getting the interview call but also to convert it into an admit. This speaks volumes about their work ethics. I would recommend B-school applicants to enroll for their interview package too along with the application package as it completes the entire process thus increasing the chance of an admit.

I am glad I chose to work with MBA Decoder and I would highly recommend MBA Decoder to all B-school applicants.

2018 Richard Ivey Admit

After four rejects from MBA schools, I turned for help to Namita from MBA Decoder. She did a detailed review of my profile and understood my goals. She also helped me select schools to apply to. One of the most important parts of the application is the essay. Namita transformed my essay from a 3/10 to a 9/10. She is a very hard critic and will give very clear feedback, which is very important to improve one’s essays. She provides comments on the essay which are very well thought of and after spending a considerable amount of time thinking through all the parts of the essay. She made me think a lot and ensured I delivered better after each review. She has an excellent command of the English language and she helped me immensely with correct edits. She also took care to ensure that she allocates time for each student. I also trained for the MBA interview with her and found this prep immensely helpful. She prepared a list of questions for me to practice. Later, she took my interview in a recorded line so that I could listen to myself and correct mistakes. I found her overall approach very professional and courteous at the same time. I would hands-down recommend Namita to anyone who wants to make his/her MBA dream a reality. She has helped me live my MBA dream as I recently got an admit from the best B-school in Canada.

2017 Duke Admit

After taking the GMAT, I believed that the hardest part of the MBA journey was over but I was in for a rude shock! When I set out to find a counsellor to guide me on my applications, I encountered a plethora of options that left me thoroughly confused.

I did what most people do – I decided to follow the statistics and reached out to some highly reputed counsellors who were frequently quoted in leading newspapers and had multiple top B-school admits under their belt. However, I realised that while they may have been effective for many, these counsellors often took on several people at a time and did not provide the level of personal attention that I wanted. Moreover, given the high volume of students that they worked with, there was a bit of a mechanical element in their process.

Luckily, I chanced upon Namita’s website and decided to give her a call. Right from the first interaction, Namita was very insightful and approachable. There was no hard sell – simply honest feedback and realistic expectations – and I made the decision to seek her help with my applications. Looking back, this decision has made a big difference in my MBA admission applications!

The MBA applications process is quite demanding and often daunting in terms of the variety of decisions that one needs to take – which schools should one apply to, which round of admissions, what should be the stories built into the applications, how should the resume look – the list is long! However, with her experience, Namita helped me get organised and cut through the clutter and navigate my way through the maze that is the admissions application process. She helped me organise my thoughts, pulled me up when I was not working hard enough, probed me and forced me to dig deep for long forgotten stories, gave me some tough but highly constructive feedback that made for excellent fodder for the application essays. She worked weekends, stayed up nights, drew upon her professional network of top B-school students and alums to help me craft out applications that I was personally very happy with.

If you are looking for someone to do the heavy lifting and help you cut corners, please do not work with Namita. However, if you want to be in control of your applications but you need someone to challenge you, to guide you and to motivate you, I can’t think of a better person than her! She is a ‘counsellor’ in the truest sense – she won’t do the work for you but if you are willing to work hard, she will be with you every step of the way and offer you her best so that you can give your best shot!

2017 Duke Admit

Namita’s services are like water to a stranded man in a desert. She is one admission consultant who treats an application like her’s. The passion for seeing the applicant get into the dream school is not a job for her, it’s her mission.

I had approached her completely lost after getting dinged from most schools I had applied to. She counselled me to not lose hope and prepared me for the new cycle. She helped me refine the schools I apply to by using past data and evaluating my chances of getting an admit based on the school’s history and perceived strengths. I was fortunate to be able to use the very strong network of current students and alumni at various top schools to further refine my list and understand what sets one school apart from the others. Her preparation of my profile was thorough and the effort she made on my essays was sometimes more than what I made myself. She always ensured I stuck to the schedules and constantly chased me when I got late. With the help of her team of very accomplished individuals, I was able to improve the essays before submitting an application.

Her interview preparation was as thorough as her application preparation, and I faced each interview completely prepared and knew what to expect. She was like a godsend for me and I owe my admit solely to her.

2017 IMD Admit

Having seven years of international work experience, I was certain I wanted to get my MBA from a European business school. After talking to several Indian consultants, I chose MBA Decoder to help me with my applications. During my initial discussions, before I had signed up with them, Namita came across as a genuine person who truly cared about seeing me into business school- this was corroborated when I talked to one of her previous applicants to get a review about MBA Decoder’s services.

To begin with, I had some strong positives in my profile that would help me in the application process, but unfortunately, I also had a couple of negatives which needed to be addressed and I didn’t know how! Namita discussed my strengths and weaknesses with me candidly and helped me bring them forth in the applications in the right light, therefore creating the right impression but also addressing any doubts about my candidature. MBA Decoder’s structured template enabled me to put down all my life’s anecdotes on one excel sheet and this eventually became the indispensable document that I referred back to several times, eventually also using it to prepare for the interviews.

I had signed up for MBA Decoder’s service for 5 business schools, but unfortunately, I feel terribly sick and had to stop my applications for at least three months. The MBA Decoder team was extremely patient through this ordeal and later helped me pick the thread from where we had left. They provided me with their undivided support. The result was that I interviewed at all the b-schools where I had applied and gained a coveted admit at IMD.

IMD has an intensive interview process called the assessment day, with multiple rounds of interviews and assessment exercises. MBA Decoder with their contacts with b-school students and alums, arranged mock interview sessions for me which helped me prepare for what was to come during the day long assessment exercise.

Overall, I had a great experience working with the dedicated MBA Decoder team and would recommend them to every applicant.

2017 ISB Admit

MBA Decoder helped me with my ISB application and they did an amazing job at that. After having spoken with several consultants, it took me a small telephonic conversation with Namita, co-founder of MBA Decoder, to go ahead with them.

MBA Decoder has an unbelievably high conversion rate and it’s ought to happen with the quality of work they put in an individual’s application.

First step begins with filling up of a detailed word doc, which can be used as a ready reference in future. Then, there is a brainstorming session in which ‘Why MBA’ & ‘Post MBA goals’ are discussed, post which the work on essays is initiated.

I believe journey to MBA begins with soul searching and the entire process (for any school) is designed in such a way that you get to know yourself better at the end. MBA Decoder guys are not ghost writers, rather they will make you understand your strength and weaknesses through their brutally honest reviews. Namita’s continuous grilling and critical evaluation helped me write a crisp essay covering all the aspects of my story.

The differentiating factor about MBA Decoder though is their strong alumni connect from diverse fields. Multiple sessions with alumni from my background helped me strengthen my basics and also helped me clarify about what to expect from an MBA.

Lastly, I should also mention the level of commitment that Namita has towards her work. She is one of the very few people in this industry who actually love their jobs. In fact, the dedication with which she works motivates you only to work harder towards continuous betterment.

Thank you Namita. I have the utmost respect for you. You helped me to my target school when I was most desperate.I would highly recommend MBA Decoder to all the MBA aspirants out there.

2017 ISB Admit

MBA Decoder’s co-founder Namita assisted me in preparing the essays for my B-school applications. I had a 100% success rate for all applications prepared with Namita. Her past professional experiences, clarity over essays’ content, and no-compromise policy on the quality of the essays ensured a successful application package. She was clear about the essay requirements for different B-Schools and helped me mold my profile accordingly, which ultimately resulted in successful applications.

The differentiating factor while working with Namita was the personal commitment and passion that she brings into the essay writing process. B-school application preparation is a lengthy process. However, during the period of our interaction, every application was treated with equal importance. We continued the editing and feedback cycle for the required duration and achieved the required quality of essays each time.

I feel that in spite of having the required profile for an MBA application, I lacked the time and research to package it into a top quality B-School application. Namita successfully bridged this gap and helped me achieve my desired admits. I wish her and MBADecoder all the best and congratulate for helping numerous candidates for getting into Institutions of their choice.

2016 Multiple schools Admits with scholarships, studied at Purdue University- Krannert School of Management

I came across many consultants who told me that, with their help, I can get into the top 15 schools, which sounds good. Namita didn’t. Namita was very realistic with me during the process. She took a detailed approach to help me understand my strengths and weaknesses and helped me frame my story in a way that put me in the best light. Namita is excellent at figuring out the best and putting it in a concise and powerful way.

I applied to 5 schools and got interview calls from all of them. Final Result: Admitted to 3/5 (with a good scholarship from all three) and waitlisted in another 2.

I am extremely pleased with how the entire MBA application process went and how Namita helped me at every step, and I would highly recommend MBADecoder to MBA applicants.

2016 Multiple b-schools admits with Scholarships, Studied at Georgia Tech- Scheller College of Business

ISB, Georgia Tech, Minnesota Carlson, Wash U – Olin, Maryland Smith, UC Davis, SMU Cox and so on are some of my admits after taking help from Namita (MBADecoder).

I started my MBA journey in Dec 2014 and started applying to schools in Jan 2015. I decided not to take help from any admission consultants, but I was not able to convert any admits. This is when I started looking for admission consultants. I found many consultants but none of them offered what I was looking for. I was not satisfied with any of them. Just when I was about to give up on hiring a consultant, I got a call from Namita and we spoke about my requirements, my profile and what I need to do to get an admit. We talked for about an hour. This was all I needed to take help from Namita and make the payment.

Namita takes a personal interest in your application- essays, resume and so on. She is very persistent about bringing the best answers for the questions asked irrespective of the number of essay reviews that has to be done. She is very straightforward which is something I liked the most. I had a very good experience and I thank Namita for all her help.

2016 Oxford Said and ISB Admit

Working with MBA Decoder was a pleasant experience. I have followed a non-linear career path, so I wanted to put my case with someone who has experience of handling candidates from diverse backgrounds.

During preliminary research I found that MBA Decoder has a strong founding team with graduates from LBS, Booth & ISB. So, I undertook its free profile evaluation service. Insightful analysis provided by Namita made me stick with MBA Decoder.

I had availed her services in March so I had ample amount of time with me. Like a good doctor who carefully tries to understand the root cause of ailments through multiple diagnostic checkups before suggesting any remedy, she helped me to revisit important life events, discover my strengths and weaknesses and solidify my career goals in a very structured manner through her unique review template.

After the diagnostics were over, she was astute in grasping my case & gave solid suggestions for presenting my application. She also helped me in finalizing B-schools based on my strengths and career goals.

Together we decided to apply to Yale, Oxford and ISB. She has impressive connections in B-Schools across the world. She helped me to connect with 20+ people who are already through the application process.

Yale was my first application and despite her repeated suggestions to change some key points in my application, I didn’t budge and as a result I got rejected. After the first rejection (that I feel is due to my insistence on presenting the application in a certain manner), she and her team doubled their efforts in helping me to improve my application. Because of the efforts of the MBA Decoder team, I got shortlisted for both Oxford-SBS and ISB and from April; I will be a part of Co2017 of ISB.

From day one, Namita took co-ownership of my application; she acted like an elder sister & even scolded me whenever I had lost focus during the application cycle. She had spent as many sleepless nights as myself, if not more for giving suggestions for improving my application.

As a testimony to her professionalism and commitment I would like to mention that early during my application cycle she met with an accident and broke her arm. She did not tell this to me so that I do not get even the slightest thought to procrastinate and shift my applications to the second round. She worked doggedly with one hand and made sure that my applications were submitted before the deadline. And it was after all the submissions were over she told me about her hand condition.

I would definitely recommend her to someone who is seeking assistance anywhere in the admission process. But remember that her feedback on your essays would be brutally honest; if the essay is worth crap she would say so and would make YOU work hard on it. She will not act as a ghost writer and will lambaste you if you show slack during the admission cycle, because then you would be ruining not only yours but also her application.

2015 ISB Admit

After finding an MBA Decoder on Pagalguy, one phone conversation with Namita was all I needed to decide that I wanted them to guide me with my application to ISB. The best part about the service from MBA Decoder was that they connected me to all the right people who made me understand the admission process better and understand my strengths and weaknesses. Within the first few weeks of signing up for their services, I had a much better picture of what I needed to highlight from my profile to maximize my chances of getting a shortlist. Once I got shortlisted, their mock interviews helped me get into the right mindset and put my best foot forward in the actual interviews.

I would recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a competent group of people to help field a competitive application to any business school, particularly ISB. Their approach of focusing on understanding the applicant’s profile first helped enormously in my case and I am sure they will be an excellent choice if you are looking for help with your business school applications.

2015- MS, Supply Chain Engineering, Georgia Tech

I used MBA Decoder’s services for application to MS programs. I was already familiar with Namita’s work and wanted someone with a professional approach towards my case. As expected, Namita helped immensely in profile evaluation and projecting my essays in the right light. I must say that she kept pushing for perfection, even when I thought that we were already there. This helped fine-tune many portions of my application which ultimately resulted in an admit from a top university.

Again, thanks for your undivided attention Namita. Wishing you the best for your future assignments.

2015 HKU MBA Admit

My decision to go with MBA Decoder was based on their active participation on MBA forums and more importantly on the connection I formed with Namita. Namita took interest in understanding my professional background and extracurricular engagements and encouraged me to focus on my career goals. She guided me on what experiences I could leverage for a business school application, which was a key factor I was unclear about.

Each experience with MBA Decoder was personal, focused and extremely satisfactory. The inputs and suggestions Namita provided during the essay editing prompted me to think in a more structured way and thus make my story more impactful.

The mock interview session was extremely well conducted. Gaurav asked me all the relevant questions during the interview. Most valuable was his feedback- he evaluated my answers and provided suggestions on how to improve on those. After working on these aspects, I felt confident and well prepared for my real interview, which went really well!

I am so glad that I chose MBA Decoder. I realized there were many questions, doubts and discussions which crop up during the admissions process and you need advice that you can trust. I found Namita to be very accessible and supportive while brainstorming on all my queries.

It was very rewarding to get an admit from HKU and I thank MBA Decoder for being a valuable part of my journey! I would highly recommend the services offered by MBA Decoder to all MBA aspirants!

2014 Yale and HEC Paris Admit

I took the services of MBA Decoder for my applications to HEC Paris and Yale SOM. The phone sessions / Email exchanges with Namita and Sachin were effective and to the point. Their template organized all the information at one place and covered every aspect of the process. Namita was assertive with her deadlines and made sure I delivered on time. I recommend MBA Decoder to all prospective applicants.

2015 Warwick Business School & ESCP (Europe) eMBA Admit

Namita is a perfect blend of style and substance when it comes to preparing essays and correcting stories for top class B-schools. She is a one stop solution for serious MBA aspirants who seek breakthrough into MBA programs.

MBA Decoder is my best choice since she helped me win a 50% scholarship in Warwick EMBA and got selected for ESCP EMBA.

She is just straightforward and tough but incredibly strong with content. Absolute no false promises and hidden overhead charges. I recommend her for any non-native MBA aspirants looking for MBA schools globally.

2014 Chicago Booth Admit

I got in touch with Namita when I started considering applying to business school. Her help with school selection and application content was invaluable in getting me admitted to UC Booth.

2014 NYU Stern Admit

I found MBA decoder on PagalGuy forum and was immediately attracted to their unique strategy. As I do not have strong writing skills, I needed one-on-one care from a professional consultant. I also needed someone who could assist me with all aspects of the application by focusing on my best stories. I did not want to limit the reviews, for I knew that placing restrictions on my essays reviews/edits would not have brought out their true intent. I was so right, because my NYU personal expression essay went through more than seven edits before we finally agreed to convert it to a creative presentation. The other essays were also reviewed/edited more than four times.

Namita is empathetic and established a meaningful relationship with me. She listened deeply to my thoughts, perspectives, motivations, and values and strategized my essays to bring out the underlying messages from my life experiences. She is easily accessible and gives appropriate time to my phone calls. All my discussions with her have been mind-openers. During our conversations I used to get very focused on my own messages, but she instantly connected with my emotional signals and impacted my thoughts to best position my messages.

Both Namita and Sachin performed thorough research of the school and encouraged me to attend info sessions. Comprehending the school culture, they helped me brainstorm my goals and why NYU essays. Namita gave me mini-deadlines and I must say that we got a lot done in a short duration. The last week was very critical for both of us. My personal expression presentation was still not finalized and she had to help her other candidates with the ISB deadline. She kept her calm and gave me ideas to break my presentation down, making it more captivating. I am extremely pleased with her promptness and timely feedback.

While NYU is still releasing its decision, I got my acceptance in a month’s time. I am extremely grateful to MBA Decoder for their help in my selection. Their depth of knowledge and breadth of experience transformed my average profile to a compelling one.

I would highly recommend MBA Decoder to anyone who is serious about breaking into his/her dream school. I could not have done it without you!

2013 – Kellogg MBA Admit

I consulted MBA Decoder for my application to Kellogg’s EMBA program. They have up-to-date and latest information about B-School admissions of major schools around the globe. This shows up when you talk to them and also reflects on successful admissions they had in the past.

When I started working with them for my essay, I was asked to jot down the points I wanted to highlight. Note that I was remote, so we used email, phone calls etc for communication. They were very professional, clean communication and focused on the end goal. They have enough experience and backed by great homework, they know exactly what the admission committee will be looking for to guide you write an essay.
